Role:

To develop inspirational and transformational leadership across the region to deliver outstanding care and support. Empowering and leading people to face the challenges and the risks that lead to personal growth and development for all.

Experience:

42 years of working in a variety of roles in health and social care services. Initially as a registered nurse in an NHS institution and then a Learning Disability Community Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist for people with challenging behaviour and complex needs; I have also worked as Head of Support for a small voluntary organisation; Staff Development Manager with a medium size organisation before moving into Senior Management Operational roles in the voluntary and private sector.

Qualifications:

RNMH (Registered Nurse for People with Learning Disabilities); ENB 806 (Nursing Care of People with Learning Disabilities in the Community); CPT (Community Practitioner Teacher); MSc in Applied Psychology; NVQ Assessor Award.

Interests:

I have a passion for travel and experiencing different cultures. I love taking long walks by the sea to relax and recharge my batteries. I enjoy entertaining and spending quality time with family and friends
