Through influential and visionary leadership, I guide the organisation towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives, ensuring excellence in social care delivery.

Experience:

I have over 15 years of experience in leading and managing social care delivery across a range of categories of care, specialising in complex nursing, learning disability, physical disability, autism, and mental health. I have a strong background in compliance, administration, implementation of IT systems, and cross-functional teams. I am a visionary leader, an analytical thinker, and a passionate advocate for excellence in social care.

Qualifications:

  • BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Public Services
  • Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management and Business Studies
  • RMA (Registered Managers Award)
  • NVQ Level 7 in Health and Social Care Management for Adults and Children
  • Level 7 Senior Peoples Professional qualification

I have extensive knowledge of social work principles, techniques, and practices, as well as the laws, regulations, and standards that govern the health and social care industry. I have also developed skills in change management, cultural and diversity awareness, decision-making, crisis management, adaptability, empathy, and creativity.

Interests:

I am proud of the achievements and challenges that I have faced in my career, and I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow. I believe that social care is not just a profession, but a calling that requires dedication, compassion, and innovation. I am committed to providing the best possible care and support to the people who need it most.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy immersing myself in R&B, garage, and old soul music. I love attending festivals, running, mountaineering, and going on adventure holidays. My dog, Akela, is my constant companion on these adventures.
